BY APPLICATION
PRE-REQUISITE: FOUNDATIONS OF SOWA RIGPA
A four-year (including Foundations year) professional training in Sowa Rigpa based on the Gyud Zhi རྒྱུད་བཞི། (Four Medical Tantras):
- Approximately 200 hours of class time each year.
- Combination of pre-recorded video content with select live online modules and weekly summary, discussion, and question and answer sessions with group mentors and guest teachers.
In addition to four years of online studies, to complete the program it is required to attend a total of 8 weeks of in-person hands on practical intensives (herbal medicine making, external therapies, and student clinics) which are offered regularly at different locations around the world (California, Tuscany, Kathmandu). These modules can be completed any time starting from year 2 (the 8 weeks can be completed individually, or combined in one trip to Nepal)
- Opportunities for additional, supplemental clinical internship and study abroad in Nepal. (Can be combined with required intensives.)
Tuition for in-person practicums tuition is additional to the annual tuition for online studies.
